Size comparison of large animals that lived in North America between 130 million years ago and 95 million years ago.
Upper row: Coloborhynchus wadleighi (large pterosaur with crested snout), Hoplitosaurus marshi (nodosaur with long shoulder spikes), Eolambia caroljonesa (large, primitive hadrosaur), Pachycheilosuchus trinquei (small crocodylian) and Cedarpelta bilbeyhallorum (large, basal ankylosaurid).
Middle row: Tenontosaurus tilletti (primitive, long-tailed iguanodont), Microvenator celer (early oviraptorosaur), Brontomerus mcintochi (sauropod with powerful hind legs) and Gastonia burgei (nodosaur covered with long spikes).
